Additional Information

Colette was born into unfortunate circumstances on a ranch in Baja California, Mexico. An intuitive autodidact, Colette worked as a figurative and conceptual artist before discovering her true metier, video. Working with her artistic team, The Colettivo, she is currently in pre-production on a film about Italian artist, Maurizio Cattelan. Colette claims to have found his iconic sculpture, the golden toilet entitled America which was stolen from Blenheim Palace and which now resides in her sty. Proudly Mexican, Colette’s commitment to feminism, social justice, and porcine pride resulted in a nomination for the prestigious Activist Pig of the Year Award.
