MVFF’s ¡Viva el Cine! initiative continues its annual celebration of Spanish-language and Latin American films and stories with this festive collection of shorts for families and younger viewers. Additional Information

Yesid Zúñiga graduated with degrees in Film and TV Direction and Production. After finishing his studies, he wrote and directed Champiñón, the first project for Cinemazul Media Group, a production company in which he serves as Creative Director. The film was selected at nearly 40 festivals, winning many awards nationally and internationally. In 2018, he participated in the Cinemateca Rodante director training workshop, where he shot his short film, Cólera. In 2019, he was selected by the District Cinematheque for the Expanded Documentary Laboratory.
