Olness directed "Coming Home", a film for Levi's - 2012 AFI Film Festival premier. Out of 1000 submissions the film won the competition. Directed Satin distributed by Warner Bros. and Showtime. Career started in visual effects editorial for George Lucas’ Industrial Light & Magic. When duty called for the Star Wars reshoots, Olness suited up as a stormtrooper and blasted the Millennium Falcon.
