Jesse Block is a San Francisco based Producer/Director focusing on Documentaries, Broadcast Programs and Live Events. He has been directing the video for Monterey Jazz Festival the past 15 years. Four of his documentaries has premiered at the MVFF - "John Cipollina's Electric Guitarslinger"/1992, "Hot Tuna 25 Years and Runnin"/ 1995, "String & Frets"/1996 and "Brotherly Jazz-The Words and Music of Heath Brothers"/ 2006. He is finishing production on a Documentary on legendary Free-Form Progressive Bay Area Radio Station, KSAN JIVE 95-THE MOVIE." The creation of the Music Video "Basic Human Needs" resulted from a recording with the The Ace of Cups, the first All-Women Band from the Sixties, and Seva's Founder, Wavy Gravy, from a session for his upcoming Documentary on the Band.
