In this recently filmed lecture, music expert Scott Freiman takes fans young and old into the studio with The Beatles as they faced an impossible task. In October 1965, they were asked to produce a new album of original music for Christmas release. One month later, they emerged with Rubber Soul, which hit number one on the charts, along with the singles “We Can Work It Out” and “Day Tripper.” Learn the stories behind the creation of these songs, as well as “Norwegian Wood,” “In My Life,” “Nowhere Man” and other classics, in this educational journey into the creative process of The Beatles’ performances and recording sessions.
